Host an event

A cake sale, quiz night or dinner party can be a great way to bring friends together while supporting GDA.

Pick your date, invite your friends and your good to go. Don’t forget to let us know what you’re up to so we can lend you and your event some support.

Give up something

A personal challenge to give up something for a day, a month or a year, can be a great way to fundraise.

Here’s some ideas as to what you could give up:

  • Driving the car – try walking to work or doing the school run on foot rather than taking the car
  • Alcohol – swap the cocktails for mocktails for a month
  • Chocolate – leave the chocolate behind for Lent
  • Social media – go old school and give up social media for a month
