Tweedy will be wearing it loud for GDA - will you?
GDA is delighted to have enlisted the help of Tweedy the Clown to act as the ambassador for the charity's very first 'Wear it Loud' day on Tuesday 15th October.
Gifford Circus star, Tweedy, who is well known for his 'loud' appearance said "Wear it loud is virtually my middle name, so I am delighted to be taking part in GDA's first ever 'Wear it Loud' day. GDA provides invaluable life-changing services and support for deaf people in the county so I would encourage all schools, businesses and clubs to get behind the campaign and 'Wear it Loud' with pride, wearing your loudest and brightest clothes for the day. Together we really can make a difference to the lives of deaf people in our community."
GDA's CEO, Sharon Bryant said "This year is GDA's centenary year and we're doing a lot of special things to mark the occasion during our centenary week, from the 14th October. We are really excited about this campaign and with the support of Tweedy, along with Gloucestershire's fantastic business community, it could really make a difference to the lives of thousands of deaf people."
