Here is GDA's round-up of news for today, with points from the Government as well as Gloucestershire and GDA:

Government:

  • The UK furlough scheme to be extended until end of June - government will
  • A new taskforce has been set up to create a vaccine against Coronavirus and they are already working towards this

    Gloucestershire:
  • The number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in Gloucestershire, has risen to 825
  • New information shows that sadly 113 people have now died of COVID-19 in the county - our thoughts are with everyone who has lost a loved one
  • Even more Gloucestershire businesses are supporting the fight against Coronavirus, with CM Downton and Kier also helping
