A Christmas party for deaf children and their families

The young children of GDA's Cirencester Deaf Children's Club (CDCC) had a visit from a very special person at their Christmas party at the weekend.

Deaf children and their families came together at GDA in Barnwood to enjoy the clubs festive get-together, where they played Christmas games and had a chance to meet Mr Christmas himself, who happened to also be a signing Santa!

The party also provided an opportunity for the parents to meet with GDA's CEO, Sharon Bryant to discuss the future of the club and their hopes for their children. Feedback from the families is always invaluable to ensure that the children, and the parents, are getting the support they need.

There will be no CDCC club meeting in January, instead the group will be enjoying a trip to The Everyman Theatre to see a BSL performance of the 'Cinderella' pantomime. The club will be back at GDA in February.

Wishing all our young members and their families, a very Merry Christmas - we can't wait to welcome you back to CDCC in the the New Year.
